Louise Green, CEO at The Brick, said: “We made the decision to extend our Christmas hamper campaign and to help an additional 100 families, as by September we were already very aware of the increase of families facing food poverty, as a result of the pandemic. The charity had witnessed a 200 per cent increase in the provision of food parcels from The Brick’s food bank and we didn’t want any of our local families to go without at Christmas.”
