Hide AdCare Love Learn, which is located at St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School in Ashton, said it has ensured all its practices are Covid compliant to provide children aged three-11 from across Wigan with high-quality childcare and educational support.
The out of school club has been open throughout the lockdown period to provide essential childcare services to families of key
workers.
Activities throughout the summer will be organised in accordance with Covid procedure and policies as laid down by the government.
The founder and manager of the organisation is advocate and educationalist Sue Morris who has worked for 39 years with children, young people and families in the Wigan and Leigh area.

Hide AdSue and the team have already been inundated with parent enquiries, with the service being described as “‘life-saving” by some who are desperate to get back to work while also want a fun and supportive environment for their children.
One parent said: “Care Love Learn is a life saver as I am a key worker and there is either very little or no other childcare provision over the summer holidays.”
Commenting on the summer camp, Sue said: “The government wants people to go back to work and get the economy started but families with young children can only do that if they have access to a trusted childcare facility.
“We believe that the service we have provided over the past few months and over the summer is essential in helping people to get back to ‘normality’ and so that children are able to socialise and learn with their peers.

We have complete and exclusive access here at St Oswald’s Catholic Primary school in Ashton where we can create space for children to socially distance whilst allowing them to have access to a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors.
“This will ensure the children can have lots of fun within a safe environment.”
The holiday camp will run until August 28 and will open between 7.30am and 6pm.
Activities at the summer camp will include sewing, cookery, pottery, football, rugby, tennis, netball and rounders.
