New 999 hub to open within months
There are just a few months left until Wigan's new fire and ambulance station will be ready to open its doors.
Construction work started on the site on Robin Park Road, Newtown, last year and the building has quickly taken shape.
Firefighters and officers are currently working from temporary accommodation on the site, which was where the former fire station was located before it was demolished.
