Liverpool added to Wigan Athletic's EFL Trophy group

Wigan Athletic have discovered their EFL Trophy opponents

Premier League champions Liverpool have been added to Wigan Athletic's group in the EFL Trophy draw.

Latics have also been drawn with Port Vale and Tranmere in Northern Group D of the 2020/21 competition.

Dates for the matches have not been confirmed but the Trophy is set to get underway during the week starting September 7, with the final at Wembley on March 14 next year.

The draw followed on from the Carabao Cup draw earlier today
