Man admits stealing children's charity box
A man has been jailed for 10 weeks after admitting stealing a charity box from a shop.
Peter Rosbotham, of Silverdale Avenue, Ince, appeared at Wigan Magistrates Court on Friday charged with burglary after breaking into a shop at Wigan Market and taking the collection box from a children’s charity.
He was also charged with one count of theft after stealing a shop assistant’s £500 mobile phone in Wigan.
