A young man has been given a suspended prison sentence after he admitted drink-driving while banned from the road.

Joshua Corless, 24, of Inward Drive, Shevington, was charged with driving a Mercedes E Class on Harrow Road, Marsh Green, having consumed more than the legal limit of alcohol - 63 microgrammes in 100ml of breath (the limit is 35) - and that he did so while disqualified. He was given a four-week prison term but it was suspended for 18 months. He was also further banned from driving for two years and must pay £207 in court and victim costs.
