Police seize counterfeit prescription drugs and cash during dawn raids in Wigan

Officers in Wigan and Salford conducted raids on Tuesday morning (May 17) as part of a major operation.

A social media post by Greater Manchester Police said: “ We delivered some early wake-up calls as part of a crackdown on the illegal supply and manufacturing of counterfeit prescription drugs across Salford and in Wigan this morning.

Arrests have been made along with cash, drugs and a significant amount of specialist equipment seized. More to follow later today.”
