IT'S good news and bad news for The Tings Tings this week.
Fans can now hear one of their tracks feature in the latest iPod and iTunes advert.
The track, Shut Up And Let Me Go, is taken from the band's debut album, We Started Nothing, which will be released on May 19.
The advert is already being aired in the US, and will hit screens in 22 countries in the next few weeks.
But the band, which features Leigh born Katie White, have had a song pulled from their debut album, We Started Nothing, in China - because it was feared the track, called Impacilla Carpisung, had a secret message.
Katie White said: "It's just gobbledygook, so the Chinese can't translate it.
"We tried to write English lyrics to it but it didn't work - it lost all its staccato-ness.
"I can't believe that the Chinese think it is some sort of message from the West."
But all is not lost, as The Ting Tings are due to celebrate the release of their album here in the UK with a free acoustic show and signing session in Manchester.
Fans can catch them at HMV, Market Street, on May 19 from 12.30pm.
