TALENTED thespians from Spotlight, a Leigh-based
performing arts group are to take to the stage with their version of Godspell, a rock musical based on the Gospel of Saint Matthew.

Following the sell-out success of last year's
performance of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', the group has chosen Lowton Civic Hall as the venue for this year's
performance and is hoping to fill the house for what promises to be a great night out for all the family.

Volunteer Susan Rogers said: "Last year's production of Joseph was really good and everybody enjoyed themselves.
"We expect more of the same this year with what should be a humorous and fun time."

The theatre group, which evolved from the Leigh and Hindley Youth Fellowship has been impressing audiences for the last 11 years with renditions of popular musicals such as Guys and Dolls, Annie and Oliver.
It is a not-for-profit group which welcomes newcomers of all ages and
abilities. The show will run from Wednesday, September 3 to Friday, September 5 at Lowton Civic Hall.

For tickets telephone the box office on 0844 800 7347.
