An intense contemporary thriller is the opening offering from Tyldesley Little Theatre for the coming season.
Tyldesley Little Theatre are welcoming local audiences to another varied season of delights at TLT when their new season begins from October 7– 11 2008.

The opener, from October 7 to 11, is Murder In Neighbourhood Watch, from Paul Ward, the award winning director of 'House Guest'.
Paul returns to the format which earned him a discretionary Greater Manchester Drama Federation award for his innovations to the previous production Expect the same rollercoaster ride – only more so!

The story focuses on a small, rural village caught in the grip of mounting terror as a violent murderer continues to lurk within the local woods.
The finger of suspicion points at Andrew Wingate, the local school's headteacher and, as he struggles to clear his name he also places himself in more and more danger. But is he as innocent as he suggests?
And what are the secrets that he has to hide? This tale of intrigue, mistaken identity and death will twist your senses in knots as the villain of the piece remains unknown until the dying seconds of the show.

The show features a host of familiar faces – and each and every one has an award-winning track record. Wingate is played by the award-winning director Ian Taylor alongside the recently GMDF best actor nominated Ian Hunter and Paul Beardsworth. Actresses Joyce Elder and Hazel Trickett have both appeared in the casts of award winning shows at TLT.

The final principal role is taken by local schoolgirl Hannah Bloor, who is putting in stunning performances during rehearsals and looks set to make the same impact as her schoolfriend Abby Dawson, another young TLT actress who recently won a prestigious Certificate of Promise Award at the Greater Manchester Drama Federation.

It promises to be a classic season at Tyldesley Little Theatre. Details of tickets are available from the usual box office number: 01204 655619 or 01942 886908.
