A memorable slice of the macabre is being presented by Tyldesley Little Theatre.
Their next production is the gripping chiller 'The Haunting of Hill House'.

The place is the old mansion called Hill House. No one lives there. Or so it seems. A group of people come to the house to study its supernatural phenomena. Or has the house drawn at least one of them to it? The answer will unnerve you in this elegantly sinister drama.
The source material for this gripping chiller is one of horror-meister Stephen King's favourite novels.

It went on to become a celluloid classic when Julie Harris and Claire Bloom starred in the 1963 film.
Expect to be on the edge of your seats as you are invited to the old, dark house that no one ever seems able to leave…
Useful

The director is Lisa Taylor, TLT's resident make-up girl (with certificates to back up her talent!) She returns to the director's chair having previously proved a useful assistant director and her first attempt at solo directing saw one of her cast win a Best Actress Award.

The combination of her love of horror films and steadily built-up theatrical experience should prove to make the production, running from March 11 to 15, a great success.

The cast includes award winning or nominated performers such as Ingrid Folkard-Evans and Karen Ward, alongside the critically praised Kaye Taylor, Ken Berry, Paul Beardsworth, Ian Taylor and Louise Robinson.

Details of tickets are available from the usual Box Office number: 01204 655619 or 01942 886908.
