A local restaurateur is supporting a group of emerging artists by exhibiting their work in his bistro.
The current exhibition features Neoartists member Christine Hardman of Atherton, who specialises in 'Pop Art' style flower paintings.

Rufus Bennett of the Bella Bistro on Railway Road in Leigh has welcomed the artists' work.
Neoartists has more
than 40 members living in the Greater Manchester area.

Spokesman, Jason Simpson of Leigh, said: "We are all recent graduates and are determined to forge our new careers within the local community.
"We already have a website where you can see and buy our work; we have a temporary gallery in River Street, Bolton, donated by Charles Topham Developments; and we are now planning to open an artist run centre in Howe Bridge Mill, Atherton, comprising 35 artist studios and a permanent public gallery''.

Alan Buckingham, Programme Leader Fine Art, University of Bolton, said: "I have been so impressed with the levels of commitment and dedication that this group has shown in the development of their careers as professional artists.''

To enquire about the group exhibiting in local businesses or for information about sponsorship of the new Neoartists Studios in Howe Bridge Mill, contact Jason Simpson on 07855369522 or visit www.neoartists.co.uk

Any professional graduate artists or art students interested in renting a studio space at Howe Bridge Mill, available from Spring 2009, should register their interest with Lisa Moore on 07870 821092.
