A thirteen-year-old Leigh girl has died after a suspected hanging incident.
Poppy Bracey was found at home in Broadwell Drive, on the evening of March 1.

An investigation into her death is now underway although police say there are no suspicious circumstances and details have been passed to the coroner.

But references on internet social networking sites have claimed the youngster was being bullied.

Poppy was in foster care at the time of her death and Nick Hudson, executive director for children and young people's services said: "Poppy's untimely and tragic death has shocked and saddened many people. There is an investigation underway into the cause of her death and as a result we feel it is inappropriate to speculate about what has happened until the outcome of the coroner's inquest."

Poppy was a student at Lowton High School and headteacher, John Shanahan said: "Poppy was a lively, bright and friendly young person."
