Internationals curtain raiser at Hilton Park

The Leythers Messageboard team will face GB Internationals team as a curtain raiser before the Centurions take on Whitehaven at Hilton Park on Sunday.
The messagebaord team was formed seven years ago with as few as four players back in the early 2000s The team is made up of Leigh Supporters aged between 16-42 years old who play one to two games a month against other messageboard teams in the TML league.

On Sunday the Leythers MB will take on a team made up of GB Internationals including: Sonny Nickle; Tommy Martyn; Darren Abram; Paul Newlove; Lee Jackson; Karl Harrison and Jamie Bloem.

Proceeds of the messageboard raffle and bucket collection from the game will go to two charities.

ADDISS helps both children and adults with ADHD by providing information, training and support for parents, sufferers and professionals in the fields of ADHD and related learning and behavioural difficulties.

The second charity is the Mary-Sheridan centre. The centre is a child development centre and serves as a one stop shop for children with special needs and their families.
The game kicks off at 12.30pm, turnstiles open at 11.30am. Admission prices for the full days entertainment are £14 adults and £7.50 concession/juniors.
