Don’t miss free TV licences

TV Licensing is urging anyone aged over 75 in Leigh who is currently still paying the annual fee for their freeview TV to apply for a free licence.

Anyone aged 74 or over can begin planning for the concession, which covers their main address, immediately by applying for a short-term licence which will last between one and 11 months.

Eligible people can register online at www.tvlicensing.co.uk/over75 or by calling 0300 790 6073.

The free licence will cover all TV sets, meaning family or carers living in the same home can also benefit. Don’t forget to let them know if you change your address.
