MEMBERS of staff at a travel agents cycled 100 miles to help raise funds for Braiden Prescott.

Six workers at Thomas Cook, in Atherton, held a three-day sponsored cycle-athon, where they took it in turns to ride an exercise bike in aid of the Braiden Lee Prescott Appeal.

All money raised will help fund three-year-old Braiden Prescott’s lifesaving treatment for neuroblastoma.

Emma Manley, manager, said: “We have done the bike ride between the staff over three days, cycling 100 miles.

“It was important for us to do this because we like to get involved in local charities and as Braiden is from Leigh, we have a lot of people coming instore who know about him.

“We found the challenge quite hard because we have to fit it in between serving customers.

“We have ended up doing around two or three miles every 10 minutes, but we managed it.

“We hope to raise around £200, as customers have been digging deep in their pockets.”
