The Centurions snatched an incredible but thoroughly undeserved 18-17 victory against lowly Batley Bulldogs last week, and coach Neil Kelly knows anything similar at the Willows on Friday night will see his side taken to the cleaners by a team with their own blushes to hide after being held 30-30 at Featherstone Rovers last week.
But Salford are sure to bounce back and Kelly is determined that his side are not going to suffer a backlash through any of their own doing.
"We have to come out of the dressing rooms for the first half like we do the second," he said.
"We can't keep letting sides get a good lead and then try to claw it back.
"

I suppose the players do deserve some credit for rescuing themselves from a dreadful situation against Batley, but even though we won, I felt like we had suffered defeat. It was terrible performance."
Anything akin to that display on Friday will see the Red Devils play havoc with the Leigh side and their play-off ambitions, and Kelly is determined to get it right.
"We lost Toa Kohe Love and Ian Marsh just before the game and that created one or two problems.
"But no excuses. It was up to the players who came in to make their mark.


"Maybe the early Ian Mort try made players think it would be easy and they started thinking about Salford. Who knows? But at least we did snatch the win.
"Now the players have to make amends by doing the business against Salford.
"They are a top side with great players who have done everything, such as Robbie Paul, in their side.
"They have plenty of go forward in Mal Alker and Craig Stapleton and Karl Fitzpatrick and John Wilshere are all cutting edges. And of course there are plenty of Leigh connections, not least Stuart Littler being a Leigh lad.


"It will be tough. But we have plenty to prove and that is what we are going there to do."
Added spice will be the fact that Salford won a Super League licence for 2009 and if that doesn't get the players fired up, nothing will!
