HAVING broken their league 'duck', Leigh turn their attentions to the Northern Rail Cup again on Sunday when they take on Featherstone for a place in the quarter-finals.
Centurions won all six of their group games to reach the knock-out stages but an away tie at Featherstone seems scant reward for such an unblemished record.

At least Leigh go to the Chris Moyles Stadium on the back of their first league win of t
he season – a 26-2 success over Dewsbury Rams which was greeted with relief by boss Darren Shaw.
"It was a bit better," said Shaw, who was scathing in his criticism of his players following an Easter Monday defeat at Widnes.
"There were some good things in the game but others that we have to work on. Some of our decision making in the second-half was poor and I think we should have won with more points.

"We scored some good tries and there were some strong individual performances. I thought Nathan McAvoy had a great game at centre and Dave McConnell went very well at nine.
"When we played smart and looked up to see what was on, we scored some tries off the back of it."
Leigh are hoping that they will have a bigger squad at their disposal for Sunday's game after three players – Lee Marsh, Mark Roberts and Anthony Stewart – withdrew from training last Saturday.

They joined prop Andy Hobson on the sick-list. He is struggling with an elbow problem. Several players suffered minor knocks against Dewsbury and Shaw was waiting on the physio's report before finalising his 17 to take to Featherstone.
Dennis Moran limped off against the Rams with a dead leg but thankfully returned later in the game. Leigh also have doubts over James Taylor (knee) and Aaron Smith (shoulder).

Mike Wainwright played despite sickness in the days before the game while forward Gareth Price is available again after suspension.
Shaw had no reservations about bringing prop Kyle Neal into the side at short notice for his debut against Dewsbury and suggested other reserve grade players could be in line for selection if their performances merit it.
"Kyle Neal is one for the future," said Shaw. "We knew he wasn't going to give us long spells but he took us forward okay. He has had some good performances in reserve grade and deserved the opportunity.
"If performances in the reserve grade justify selection they will play, simple as that. I have no problems in bringing them into the first-team if the other guys are not playing to their potential."
Shaw has seen Featherstone play several times this season and believes Leigh will have to be at their best to reach the last eight of the Northern Rail Cup.

"Featherstone are very strong and have a lot of second phase," said Shaw. "They have two lively half-backs and a big set of forwards. We have to make them work and our execution must be very good.
"You just have to look at the results in this division to see that you can't take anyone lightly at all. We have to go there with a good attitude and will need to work hard to get a result."

Tickets for Leigh's Carnegie Challenge Cup clash with Warrington at Hilton Park will be available from Friday, April 4.
The game is on Sunday, April 20, with a 3pm kick-off and fans have their first chance to buy tickets between 10am and 4pm at the club shop. On occasions when the shop is closed the tickets will be available from the lottery office.
Admission prices are £14 for adults, £7.50 for concessions and £3 for junior season ticket holders.
The game is not all ticket but the club is advising spectators purchase their tickets in advance as a bumper crowd is anticipated.
